Ann Marie Weineck, 72

Dateline: Mansfield, MA

Ann Marie (Roscoe) Weineck, age 72, of Mansfield, passed away unexpectedly, yet peacefully at home on Wednesday, April 8, 2026. She was the beloved wife of the late Richard J. Weineck, who died on October 11, 2004.

Born in Brockton, MA on July 1, 1953, she was a loving daughter of the late Robert F., Sr. and Marie T. (Silva) Roscoe.

Ann Marie grew up in the Town of Avon, prior to her family moving to Easton. She was a 1970bgraduate of Oliver Ames High School. After starting her family, Ann Marie went back to her studies and received her degree as a License Practical Nurse from the Southeastern Regional Vocational Technical School and later earned her degree as a Registered Nurse from Massasoit Community College.

A resident of Mansfield for the past forty-five years, Ann Marie worked as a Registered Nurse in the healthcare industry, where she was well-known for her kindness and dedication to the many-many patients she cared for during her twenty-nine-year career.

A communicant of Saint Mary’s Church in Mansfield, Ann Marie’s family always came first, was the focal point of her life and loved proudly telling others about her grandchildren. She had a special place in her heart and unconditional love for her dogs “Gracie” and “Keeley” and enjoyed frequently watching her grand dog “Lola”. Ann Marie was also a familiar sight on her long daily walks throughout Mansfield, enjoyed watching influencers on her phone and the simple pleasure of doing word search puzzles white relaxing on the back porch at her home in Mansfield.

She is survived by her devoted children, Jason R. Weineck of North Attleboro, Lindsey M. Weineck-Rosa of Maryland and Christopher M. Weineck and his fiancé Teressa of Mansfield. She was the cherished grandmother of Evan, Elaina, Asher, Colson and Caleb. She was the dear sister of Susanne Bardasz and her husband Leon of North Easton, Joseph Roscoe of North Attleboro and the late Robert Roscoe Jr., who is survived by his wife Carolyn Roscoe of Arizona. She is also survived by her loving nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend visiting hours on Wednesday, April 15th from 4:00-7:00 P.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North Main Street, Mansfield.

A service in celebration of her life will be held at the conclusion of visiting hours on Wednesday April 15th at 7:00 P.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home. Burial will be held privately, at a later date, at Saint Mary’s Cemetery in Mansfield.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing may remember Ann Marie with a donation in her memory made to the Mansfield Animal Shelter, P.O. Box 25, Mansfield, MA 02048.
