Stephen Patrick Staite
Born September 27, 1979, in Lowell, Massachusetts
Passed away April 7, 2026
Stephen passed away unexpectedly, yet peacefully, surrounded by loved ones.
Stephen attended Landmark School in Beverly, Massachusetts, and later went on to college at URI before attending tech school in Chicago, where he became a certified Mercedes technician. Over the years, Stephen explored several career paths—from auto mechanics to sales—and even ventured into owning his own businesses. He had a natural gift of gab and could strike up a conversation with just about anyone.
Stephen had a passion for working out, MMA, and jujutsu, where he earned many awards—pursuits that reflected both his strength and determination.
Today, we choose to remember the moments that mattered and release the rest with grace.
He is survived by his daughter, the light of his life, Ariya Craft, and her mother, Krystle Craft; his sister, Kerrie Sims, and her husband, Kenneth Sims; his parents, Stephen and Patricia Staite; his Aunt Patty Thorne; his Aunt Sandra Burnes and her husband, George Burns; his Aunt Linda Leclair and her husband, Brian; and his cousins, Lindsey and Michael Leclair.
The family would like to thank his friends, Montana Cole, Jessica Nunez, and Eric Wright, for surrounding him with love and comfort at the end of his journey.
We trust that God, in His infinite mercy, has welcomed Stephen home where pain and struggle are no more, and may he find the peace he was unable to find here on earth.
His funeral services will take place privately.
