Patricia C. "Pat" (Jones) Pimentel, 87, of Dartmouth, passed away on Monday, April 6, 2026 at St. Luke's Hospital. She was the wife of the late Jose D. Pimentel.
Mrs. Pimentel was born in New Bedford, daughter of the late William A. and Mildred M. (DeRosa) Jones and had been a longtime resident of Dartmouth. She enjoyed traveling and dining out. Her greatest joy was spending time with family, especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include her 3 sons: Jose D. Pimentel, Jr. and his wife Rose Marie of Bridgewater, James R. Pimentel of Dartmouth and Daniel T. Pimentel and his wife Coleen of Freetown; her 2 daughters: Catherine M. Nichols and her husband Gary of Acushnet and Julie A. Pimentel of Dartmouth; 2 sisters: Marjorie Santiago of FL and Mildred Lafeirier of Fairhaven; 9 grandchildren: Garrison, Thomas, Lloyd, Matthew, Anthony, Adrien, Adam, Elizabeth and Georgianna; 3 great grandchildren: Elle, Joy and Royce; along with many nieces and nephews.
She was the mother of the late Rosalie A. Pimentel, grandmother of the late Emily Pimentel and sister of the late Robert Jones, Leo Jones, Linda Taylor, Bernice Case, Brenda Hathaway and Lillian Sroczynski. She was also the longtime partner of the late Robert D. Erickson with whom she enjoyed over 20 years of loving companionship.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be Friday, April 10, 2026 from the Potter Funeral Home at 9:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Julie Billiart Church, Dartmouth at 10:00 A.M.
Calling hours Thursday from 6-8 P.M.
Interment in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, New Bedford.
