Elaine A. Taylor, 70, of Higgins Lane, Smithfield, passed away on Easter Sunday April 5th in Fatmia Hospital, North Providence. She was the wife of Patrick J. “PJ” Taylor. They had been married for 27 years.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late John and Anne (Thibeault) Deware.
Elaine had been a secretary for medical services at the VA Medical Center in Providence before retiring.
She had been a founding member of the Georgiaville Beach Memorial.
Besides her husband, she leaves her children, Carl Folco of Smithfield, and John Folco of Smithfield. She was the sister of William “Bill" Deware of Bristol, Mary Listowski of Warwick and Karen Lupien of Johnston. Elaine also leaves many nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Anthony Folco and sister of the late Denise Demeo.
Her funeral will be held on Saturday April 11th at 10am in the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Her burial will be in Highland Park, Johnston. Visitation will be held on Friday April 10th from 4-8pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Georgiaville Beach Memorial Fund.
