FRAMINGHAM - Thomas Eagan Ferrari, age 81, of Framingham, Massachusetts passed, after a short period of declining health, on March 28, 2026. He was a longtime resident of Framingham and Westborough. Tommy was the son of the late Clarence and Helen Ferrari.
He leaves his wife Jane, and son, Thomas Eagan Ferrari Jr; along with three devoted daughters: Kimberly (Gary Fletcher), Kristin (Mark Parabicoli), and Christina Razzore. Tommy was a beloved grandfather to Allyson (Sean Brady), Julia, Maria, Andrew, and Hannah. He was very fortunate to have a great-granddaughter, Baby Meadow. Tommy also leaves his siblings Mary Louise, Kathy (George Zanella) and Anne “Butter” (Steve Greenberg), and sister and brother-in-law Nancy and Donald Cerulo. He was predeceased by his sister Peggy (Billy Stoddard) and brother Dickie (Judy Ferrari), and his in-laws Arnold and Katherine Gould, and also brother and sister-in-law Jack and Kathy Clinton.
Tommy’s immense family of cousins, nieces, nephews, along with numerous friends, all enjoyed many laughs and story telling moments with him. He regaled one and all with his beautiful singing voice..the only baritone among us!
Following in his grandfather Joseph Ferrari’s footsteps, who was the first Italian State Police Detective in the state, Tommy had a long career of 26 years as a Massachusetts State Policeman and rose from Trooper, to Detective, then Corporal, and ultimately, Sergeant. He spent many years as a Detective in the Narcotics’ Division. In his final years of service, Tommy established the Acton Equine Training Facility while managing and operating the Massachusetts State Police Mounted Unit. After retirement, Tommy was a heavy equipment operator, which kept him active and social.
Tommy lit up every room he entered, had a smile for everyone, and came to anyone’s aid whenever called. His unyielding love for his family and siblings was evident in everything he did. His membership at the local VFW and American Legion showed his loyalty to friends from his hometown.
As he often said while departing us for the night, “Time for Tall Timbers”. We will miss you Dad, husband, brother, uncle, cousin, friend, and most notably, Grampy Tom.
