It is with great sadness that I write this regarding Geoffrey Mann
Born Sept 4th 1945 - he has now joined his parents and one grandchild William
He is survived by his Wife Ann (Adams) Mann of 61 years
His Son Alex Mann -Christopher, Madison, Caitlyn, Ethan
His Daughter Sarah Mann - Jacquelyn Baldwin and Owen Parnell
His sisters Linda,Sharon, Betsy (Elizabeth), Barbara
Geoff grew up in Marshfield, MA -where he met his future wife and best friend Ann at the Marshfield fair!
After high school Geoff went on to college, after he completed his degree he went on to serve in the Navy where he was stationed in Great Lake, IL after his 4 yrs in service Geoff and Ann would buy their first home in Quincy, MA where they would reside for the next 55 yrs - they became homeowner for a second time in Falmouth, Cape Cod Where countless memories were made and summertime traditions are still held fondly in his families hearts
Geoff was blessed with 7 grandchildren and spending holidays and summer trips to the cape house were some of the best part of life for Geoff
Dad - my Dad was a gentle loyal do anything for you type of man
He was known for his ability to problem solve, fix anything that needed repairs, he was known by his loved ones as “MacGyver”
Some of his hobbies included woodworking, puzzles and solitaire and I would be neglectful to not mention his true love —COFFEE!!!
There is a place in our hearts and day to day life that will remain empty as dad /grandpa was truly one of a kind
