
LACONIA ---- Lucien D. Bouley, 92, of Court Street, passed away on Monday, April 6, 2026, at Concord Hospital in Concord, NH.
Lucien was born on January 30, 1934, in Laconia, the son of Lucien and Emma (Duval) Bouley.
He worked for the City of Laconia Public Works for many years. He lived at the St. Francis Home, Bishop Bradley Apartments, for the past ten years and was known as ‘The Mayor’ always greeting new residents and worked as a lector in the chapel there for the past few years. He was also the caller at weekly Bingo and he started a weekly social gathering of storytelling every Monday night.
He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Fourth Degree and a faithful member of St. Andre Bessette Parish and not only served as eucharistic minister, but also helped the parish in any way throughout his whole life.
His personality, humor and the smile on his face made everyone feel welcome and accepted.
In addition to his parents, Lucien was predeceased by his sister Veronica Bouley and his brother Roger Bouley.
A Calling Hour will be held on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, from 9:00am-10:00am, at St Andre Bessette Parish at Sacred Heart Church, 291 Union Avenue, Laconia, NH 03246.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00am also at the church.
Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Garfield Street, Laconia, NH.
