Vega, Nilda Vega, Teresa Vega and Felix Vega all of Chelsea, Maria Elisa Vega of Conneticut, Oscar Vega of Jamaica Plain and Maribel Vega of Chelsea. Brother of Carmen Vega, Lilo Vega, Carlos Vega, Gloria Vega, Mario Vega, Antonio Vega and Josefa Vega. Cherished grandfather of 33 and great grandfather of 11. Also lovingly survived by many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend a Funeral from the Smith Funeral Home, 125 Washington Avenue, CHELSEA on Monday morning, September 18th at 8 AM followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in St. Rose Church, 601 Broadway, CHELSEA at 9 o'clock. Visiting Hours in the Smith Funeral Home on Sunday from 3-7 PM. Services will conclude with interment at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
A native of Guayama, Puerto Rico and a resident of Chelsea for the last 15 years, Julio, at 68 years od age, passed away at Eastpointe Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Central Avenue after 10 years of supportive care.
