Anita (Preziosi) Caputo, of Medford, passed away on Wednesday, March 25th, at the age of 102. Born and raised in Somerville, she was the cherished daughter of the late Vincent and Angelina (Champie) Preziosi.
Anita had a kind disposition and a heart of gold. She always made sure that everyone was taken care of first before she would take care of herself. Anita was a dedicated mother to her children; they were her pride and joy.
Anita loved to watch the birds from her window, playing bingo every week, watching bowling on tv and cooking macaroni with her famous baby meatballs.
Anita was the devoted mother of Michael Caputo of Stoneham, and the late Joanne Caputo. She is the dear sister of Dolores Conway. She is also survived many loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, on Wednesday, April 1st, from 5 PM to 8 PM. A celebration of Anita’s life will be held in the funeral home on Thursday, April 2nd, at 10 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
