CAMPTON ---- Dr. William “Bill” LaFontaine, 80 of Campton, NH, passed away at his home on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.
Bill was born in April 1945, in Scranton, PA, the son of William H. LaFontaine and Ruth LaFontaine.
Bill is survived by his beloved wife and partner of 23 years, Lieza, daughter Michelle LaFontaine of Florida, and stepdaughters Caitlin and Alyssa. In addition to his parents, Bill is predeceased by his son Matthew and sister Faye.
An avid mountain-climber, fly fisherman, logger, and gardener, Bill was most happy spending time outdoors. After a 40-plus year career in dentistry, he continued to travel around the country, spending time in Captiva, Florida and Acadia, Maine.
There will be no immediate services; a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
