Obituary

Alexander Turovskiy, lovingly known as “Kuzya,” of Boston, Massachusetts, originally from Odessa, Ukraine, passed away on March 25, 2026.

Alexander brought energy and light into every room he entered. He was known for his sharp mind, quick wit, and above all, his incredible kindness and love for those around him. He had a rare ability to make people feel seen, welcomed, and valued, leaving a lasting impression on everyone he met.

From a young age, Alexander had a deep passion for all things mechanical and engineering. He loved taking things apart and putting them back together, always curious about how the world worked. A gifted software architect and natural problem solver, he approached life with innovation, decisiveness, and creativity. He was also a wonderful storyteller, able to captivate any room with his humor and perspective.

Alexander will be deeply missed by his loving children, Nina, Nadia, Natalie, Nikita, and Nazariy, and by his close-knit family and dear friends.

Alexander’s warmth, brilliance, and generous spirit will live on in the memories of all who knew and loved him.

A Panyheda service for Alexander will be held on Thursday, March 26th at 5:00 PM at Holy Epiphany Russian Orthodox Church, 963 South Street, Roslindale, MA, followed by light refreshments in the church hall downstairs.
