Obituary

DUDLEY – Raymond M. “Ray” Androlewicz, 61, died Monday, March 16 at home after being stricken ill.

He leaves a son, Christopher R. Androlewicz and his wife Colleen of Brookfield; 3 grandchildren, Mackenzie Androlewicz, Teagan Androlewicz and Torin Androlewicz; 3 brothers, Robert J. Anders of Webster, Richard J. Androlewicz and his wife Beverly, and Ronald W. Androlewicz all of Dudley; many nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his sister and brother-in-law Patricia G. Zagrocki and her husband John J. Zagrocki, Jr.

He was born on November 4, 1964 in Webster a son of John M. and Theresa E. (Maciejewski) Androlewicz. He was a 1982 graduate of Shepherd Hill Regional High School and earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business from Nichols College in 1986.

Mr. Androlewicz first worked with his family in construction before being employed by the gas division of National Grid for 24 years. He more recently was working at Feeney Brothers Utility Service in Dorchester.

Ray was an avid and proficient golfer. However, his great joy came from the time he spent with his beloved grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held in Anya’s Restaurant, 49 CT-193, Thompson, CT, on Saturday, April 11 starting at 1:00 PM. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Sitkowski, Malboeuf & Hickey Funeral Home, 340 School Street, Webster.
