With great sadness, the family of Catherine Boorady announces her passing on March 12, 2026 at age 70.
Born in Brooklyn and raised in Dunkirk NY, Catherine attended SUNY Brockport and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Dance and Music. Later, she earned a Master of Arts in Dance Education from NYU. As a dancer, educator, fitness trainer, and massage therapist, Catherine was passionate in the study and teaching of different modalities of movement. She was dedicated to helping others improve their self-awareness and well-being, while integrating her interest in spirituality.
Catherine was an accomplished cook and a marvelous gardener who loved to share meals and flowers with family and friends. She will always be remembered for her joyful laugh, and her warmth and kindness to all.
She was predeceased by her parents, Edward and Ethel, and her husband, Michael. She will be greatly missed by her family, her sisters, Carol (Jan), Liz (Howard) and Ruth (Andrew), nieces, nephews, Aunts, cousins, in laws, friends and caregivers.
