Edward “Ed” Marshall Ely II

Edward “Ed” Marshall Ely II, 77, of Anderson, passed away March 16, 2026 at Community Hospital.
Ed was born on July 10, 1948 in Charleston, West Virginia, the son of Edward Marshall Ely and Evelyn (Butler) Ely. Ed felt blessed to work in management with the Church of God Publishing House, Warner Press, for the bulk of his career.
Ed is survived by his wife, Nelda Lynn Ely, whom he married April 22, 1972; his children, Edward “Ted” Marshall Ely, III of Las Vegas, Nevada and Jessica Lynn Ely of Anderson; sister, Beverly Ann Pfau (John) of Plantation, Florida and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and infant son, Grantland Ely.
A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2026 from 2-4 pm at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service. Ed requested no funeral service.
