Eugenia Feliciano, of Boston, Massachusetts, passed away on March 13, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Caonilla, Villalba, Puerto Rico on November 15, 1948. In 1971, Eugenia made Boston her home, where she later met Heleodoro “Teo” Feliciano. They were united in marriage on November 9, 1974, at the Cathedral of the Holy Cross.
Eugenia dedicated many years of her life to working at the Blackstone School. She found great joy in helping students and was known for her kindness, warmth, and the beautiful way she could bring a smile to anyone’s face.
She was preceded in death by her parents Mariano Santiago and Juana Torres, and siblings Casildo, Rosa, and Juan Santiago.
She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Eugenia will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Heleodoro Feliciano; son, Melvin Feliciano, and wife Nadvady Rosa; daughter, Melinda Feliciano; cherished granddaughters, Maia, and Naila Feliciano; siblings, Irene Santiago, Cristina Santiago, Benita Toledo, Margarita Santiago, Harry Santiago; nieces Carmen, Maribel, and Norma Colón; nephew Angel Toledo; plus many more adored nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend services at the Cathedral of the Holy Cross on Friday, March 20, 2026. Visiting hours will begin at 10:00 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Burial will take place at St. Michael’s Cemetery.
