
Carl Malory Easom, 80, of Albany passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at his niece’s residence in Enigma surrounded by his loving family. A private funeral service and burial will be held for Mr. Easom at a later date.
Mr. Easom was born on April 19, 1945, in Cordele to the late Charles Malory Easom and Hazel Addison Easom. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Annette Stephens Easom; two daughters, Cindy Bennett and Teresa Rowan; two brothers, Charles Thomas Easom and Homer Easom; three sisters, Dorothy Wiggins, Julia “Ann” Davis and Mary Louise Easom; and a special friend, Rex Stone. Before retiring, he was a truck driver for Watkins. He also served in the Air National Guard.
Mr. Easom was loved and admired by everyone, and he never met a stranger. He loved the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, and doing lawn care work.
Mr. Easom leaves behind one sister, Betty Tyler of Tifton; many nieces and nephews; and special friends, Joe (Maryanne) Morgan, Brandy Stone Parker and their children.
