Gladys G. Hobbs, affectionately known as “Gigi,” passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, February 26, 2026, at her home. She was born on January 30, 1961, and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Geraldine (Lovell) Hobbs. As the child of a military family, she moved frequently during her early years before eventually settling in Lowell with a friend.
Gigi loved to read and cook and was known to be a fantastic cook. She also took great pride in keeping her home clean and tidy. Above all else, her family brought her the greatest happiness.
She is survived by her two sons, her siblings, Joanne Francis of Florida, and Barbara Maze of Boise, ID; and her dear friend, Cynthia Donovan of Lowell.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother the late Michael Hobbs.
