Obituary

KOLOMICKI- Of Watertown, formerly of Chelsea, September 12th, Charles J. "Koko". Devoted husband of Maryann (Bielinski). Loving son of the late John and Helen (Klepacki) Kolomicki. Beloved brother of Sophie Kosakowski of Dorchester, Ann Golebiewski and her husband Edwin of Brighton, Josephine Barys and her husband Albert of Saugus and the late Helen Gazarian. Dear godfather of Kathleen Todisco and Frank Barys. Also lovingly survived by many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend a Funeral from the Smith Funeral Home, 125 Washington Avenue, CHELSEA on Saturday morning, September 16th at 8 AM followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in St. Stanislaus Church, 163 Chestnut Street, CHELSEA at 9 o'clock. Visiting Hours in the Smith Funeral Home on Friday from 4-8 PM. Services will conclude with entombment at Holy Cross Mausoleum. Expressions of sympathy in "Koko's" name may be made to the Chelsea Soldiers Home, Quigley Recreation, Attn: John Davis, 91 Crest Avenue, Chelsea, MA 02150. Born in Chelsea and a resident of Watertown since 1951, "Koko" at 78 years of age, passed away at the Chelsea Soldiers Home late Tuesday evening where he had been recieving supportative care for the last 2 1/2 years.

For over 25 years until his retirement in 1987 he was in charge of Production Control at the Damon Corporation in Needham.

A United States Army Veteran of the Korean War, he was also a member of the PAV #13 here in Chelsea.
