Obituary

Reginald Oliver Hadrick, affectionately called Reggie, passed away peacefully on February 23, 2026, at Boston Medical Center South in Brockton, MA., due to complications from pneumonia at the age of 64 years old. Reggie was born on May 30, 1961, in Boston Massachusetts. Reggie grew up in a caring family and graduated from Dorchester High School before pursuing some college studies and entering adulthood.

Reggie spent several years working as a machinist at General Electric, where his commitment and expertise earned him the respect of his coworkers and peers. In 1987, he experienced traumatic brain injury that led him to adapt to a new way of living where he found great enjoyment in fishing, shooting pool, playing chess, caring for dogs, and collecting coins: all hobbies that enriched his life.

Reggie is preceded in death by his fathers Fred Baskin Sr., and sister Kimberly Baskin. Reggie leaves behind to mourn his mother, Edna J. (Milton) Hadrick; his sisters, Regina Hadrick-Roberson of Rhode Island, Patricia (Baskin) Powell of Portugal, Felicia Baskin-Dunn of Virginia, and Regina Baskin of of Dorchester, MA.; and brothers Fred Baskin Jr., of Mansfield, MA>,and Keith Baskin of Dorchester, MA.

He is also survived by his daughter Natalie I. (White) Massicot of Boston, MA., 3 adored grandchildren, and a large and loving family including aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends who will hold his memory dear.

Family and friends are invited to attend the viewing hour on Friday March 27, 2026 from 2-3 PM followed by a Religious Service from 3-4 PM in the Joseph Russo Funeral Home, 814 American Legion Highway, Roslindale, MA. 02131. Burial will be private.
