BASILE, Theresa (Terry) M. (Inserra) of Dedham, passed away peacefully on March 6, 2026. Beloved wife of the late Henry (Hank) J. Basile for 43 years. Loving mother of Catherine T. Basile (Sherri) of Foxboro, Annette P. Basile of Aventura, FL, John H. Basile of Boston, and Henry J. Basile and his wife Lynette R. of Dedham. Sister of Marie Provost and her husband David of Methuen, the late Jean Boudreau and her late husband John of Dedham, the late Vincent Inserra and his surviving wife Marilyn of Glenview, IL, and the late Joseph Inserra and his late wife Gerry. Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Terry was a longtime resident of Roslindale, where she met her husband and raised her four children. She loved reading, playing slots at the casino, dining out, live music, and every movie on the Hallmark Channel. But what she enjoyed the most was spending time with her family and her beloved grand pets: Cody, Mila, and Figgy.

Visiting hours will be held at the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St., Dedham, on Sunday March 15, from 2 pm to 5 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 420 High St., Dedham on Monday, March 16, at 10 am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Terry’s memory to the American Diabetes Association or the American Cancer Society.
