Georgianna F. Adams, 87, Harmony, died Wednesday, February 25, 2026 at her home. She was the widow of George S. Adams who died in 1987.
Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late William and Angela (Simonelli) Fratus. She had lived in Harmony for 52 years.
Georgianna was a Licensed Practical Nurse for 25 years. She had worked at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence and also worked as a Private Duty Nurse.
She would often be seen by those driving by working around her yard and in her beautiful flower gardens.
She is survived by her son: George S. Adams, III Virginia, her daughters: Amanda Evers and her husband, Walter Evers, III of Massachusetts and Jennifer Adams of New Hampshire, her grandchildren: Jacob, Charles, Angela and Braden and her two sisters: Lorraine Lepizzera and Elaine Stravato. She was the mother of the late Susan Adams and grandmother of the late Katherine Evers.
Her funeral service will be held Thursday, March 5, 2026 at 11am in the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Rt 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Burial will private. Visitation will be Thursday from 9am to 11am
