Betty Burton Everett, 79, of Oak Lawn, Illinois, died September 10, at her residence.
Funeral services will be held 1 PM, Thursday, September 14, at Chapel Hill Gardens South Funeral Home in Oak Lawn, IL. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Gardens South Cemetery.
Mrs. Everett was born June 24, 1927 in Ben Hill County, Georgia, to the late Carl LaRue and Ina Mae Anderson Burton. She grew up in Fitzgerald and lived in Oak Lawn, IL since 1947. Mrs. Everett was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law: James E. Everett, Jr. & Sandra of Key West, FL and Richard & Colleen Everett of Inez, TX; 7 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren; sisters: Bobbie L. Griffin of Irwinville and Leonet Bostick of Lakeland. She was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Everett and a son, Robert Everett.
