William Eugene “Bill” Russell
November 3, 1934- February 25, 2026
William Eugene “Bill” Russell, 91, of Anderson passed away on February 25, 2026 at his home following a four month illness.
He was born on November 3, 1934 in Anderson, IN to the late Cleveland and Esta Russell. He served in the US Army during the Korean War and with the National Guard.
He was a millwright at Fisher Body in Marion for 45 years. He was a member of the Midwest Cherokee Alliance.
He is survived by his two children, Robert Russell and Suzana Garrison both of Anderson; two grandchildren, Mark McCrocklin of Anderson and Elena Garrison of Missouri; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Betty Jean Russell; a brother, Benjamin; a sister, Pat; and two grandsons, William and Eric Garrison.
There will a private service at East Maplewood Cemetery.
