Worcester – Steven A. Blomstrom, 70, of Worcester, passed away on Friday, February 20, 2026 in Saint Vincent Hospital after a brief illness.
Mr. Blomstrom was born in Worcester, son of the late Alden and Eleanor (Fournier) Blomstrom. Steven was raised in Worcester graduating from South High School and then continuing his education at Worcester State College where he attained his bachelor’s degree.
Mr. Blomstrom resided in California for many years working in the financial services industry and then eventually moved back home to the Worcester area where he went to work for LabCorp. He was an avid sports fan and always enjoyed the time he was able to spend on the golf course.
Mr. Blomstrom is survived by his brother, Kurt Blomstrom of Auburn and is predeceased by a brother, Wayne Blomstrom and two sisters, Barbara Marrino and Karen Prouty.
Funeral services are being held privately and are under the direction of Alfred Roy & Sons – Henry Funeral Service Memorial Chapel 33 Ward Street Worcester.
