Dora Linda Hall Elliott, 81, of Monticello, Georgia, died Thursday, February 19, 2026, at Piedmont Newton Hospital in Covington, Georgia.
Graveside services will be held 11 AM, Thursday, February 26, 2026, at Big Creek Cemetery, in Irwin County, Georgia. The family will greet friends at the cemetery following the service.
Mrs. Elliott was born November 9, 1944, in Fitzgerald, Georgia, to the late James Clinton & Dora Lucy Cleghorn Hall. After graduating high school, she was employed with Sears Roebuck & Co. for 40 plus years as a Purchasing Agent. She enjoyed spending time working in her yard, gardening, spending time with her family and researching her family lineage.
She is survived by a stepson, John Elliott, Jr, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; a sister, Loraine Carder; brothers: Jerry Hall, Johnny Hall and Steve Hall; numerous nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, John “Jack” Elliott.
