VALDEZ Narciso of Jamaica Plain, formerly of San Juan, Puerto Rico, and Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, passed away on February 19, 2026. Beloved son of Ana Valdez of Jamaica Plain, and the late Benancio Martinez. Devoted father of Ana Valdez and her husband Carlos, Renny Valdez and his wife Hilda Terrero-Valdez. Erick Valdez, Bryam Valdez, and Yosmery Valdez. Loving Papa of Geurick, Gina, Amiel, Adriel, Elias, Noah, Isabella, Jamiel, Selena, and Joniel. Brother of Guillermo, Carmen, Miguel, Maximo, and the late Jose, and Margarita. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Narciso was a man of determination and vision. Driven by his desire to provide a better future for his family, he emigrated to Puerto Rico, where his dedication and strong work ethic led him to become a successful entrepreneur. He proudly founded and operated Valdez Construction in Puerto Rico, building a legacy of integrity and perseverance.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Narciso cherished life’s simple joys. He loved spending Sundays with family, listening to music, eating delicious food and playing dominoes. Known as someone who took care of everyone, he was a steady and dependable presence in the lives of those he loved.
His legacy lives on in his five children, Ana, Renny, Erick, Bryam, and Yosmery and in his ten grandchildren. Narciso will always be remembered as a pillar of strength, and he will forever remain in our hearts.
A visitation will be held at the P.E. Murray - F.J. Higgins, George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home 2000 Centre St. West Roxbury on Thursday February 26th from 11:00-12:00am, followed by a Funeral Service in the funeral home at 12:00pm. Interment St. Mary Cemetery.
