Steven P. Valley, age 66, of Norton, passed away unexpectedly, yet peacefully at home on Monday, February 23, 2026. He was the beloved husband of Lauren M. (Parker) Valley, to whom he was wed on May 27, 1984.
Born in Worcester, MA on May 1, 1960, he was a loving son of Leona P. (Baribeault) Valley of Bridgewater and the late Donald C. Valley.
Steve spent his childhood living in Spencer and Fall River. His family later moved to Stoughton, where he was a 1978 graduate of Stoughton High School. He had made his home in Norton for the past thirty-nine years and for nearly twenty-one years, was employed as an Electronic Test Technician at Atrenne Computing Solutions in Brockton.
Steve’s family always came first, and he will always be remembered for his kind-hearted nature. When younger, he enjoyed working on cars and throughout his life had the knowledge and ability to fix just about anything. Steven also enjoyed gardening, camping, times spent at the seashore, Cape Cod and especially in the beautiful White Mountains of New Hampshire.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by his devoted children, Katy E. Finch and her husband James of East Bridgewater and Paul S. Valley and his wife Cassandra of Attleboro. He was the cherished grandfather of Eva Finch, Charlotte Valley and Camden Valley. He was the dear brother of Susan Ryan of Raynham and Alan Valley and his wife Theresa of Berkley. He was the brother-in-law of Richard Parker and his wife Jane of Lake Wales, Florida, the son-in-law of the late Eleanor parker and is also survived by Lauren’s sister and brother-in law Kevin Purdy and his wife Janel of Lake Wales, Florida.
Services and burial are private and visiting hours have been omitted.
