Aprile Boos, 59, of Somerville, passed away on February 13, 2026.
Aprile dedicated many years of service as a 911 dispatcher, a role she took great pride in. She was a steady voice in moments of crisis, always ready to help others when they needed it most. Her strength, compassion, and unwavering sense of duty defined not only her career, but her life.
Above all, Aprile was a devoted and loving mother. She was strong willed, fiercely protective, and endlessly giving. To her daughter, she was simply the best Mom in the world.
Aprile found joy in life’s simple comforts. She loved her Pepsi, her beloved cats Jax and Milo, and nothing more than getting cozy and watching a good movie. She had a generous heart and was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need.
She was predeceased by her father, Arthur Boos. She is survived by her daughter, Tayla Boos; her mother, Ginger Boos; her brother, Robert Boos; and she also leaves many loving cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.
A memorial service will be held in the coming weeks, with details to be announced.
Aprile’s love, strength, and steady presence will live on in the people she cared for, the lives she helped save, and in the heart of her daughter, who will carry her with her always..
