Alice Louise Hamblet
July 23, 1927 – February 23, 2026
Alice Louise Hamblet, 98, of Muncie went to be with her King on February 23, 2026 at The Waters of Muncie following a very brief illness.
She was born on July 23, 1927 in Providence, Rhode Island to William and Marion (Otis) Hamblet. She worked in several factories over the years.
She loved Jesus and was a member of The Broken Church in Muncie. She loved to
bowl, do crafts, play bingo, keyboard, and bells and never met a stranger.
She is survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents and ten siblings, Glenn Hamblet, Warren Hamblet, Dwight Hamblet, Lloyd Hamblet, Charles Hamblet, Florence Graft, Beatrice England, Cora Hughes, Carol Morris, Adeline Cryer; and a great-nephew, Toby Snow.
Funeral service will be at 1:30pm on Wednesday, February 25, 2026 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service (West End) with Rev. Melodie Eisenhofer officiating. A private burial will take place at East Maplewood Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1:00pm-1:30pm on Wednesday at the funeral home.
