Alice E. (Ghirardini) Kendall of Needham, formerly of Brighton died on Saturday, September 9 at the Hebrew Rehabilitation Center in Roslindale. She was 88 years old. Born on Winchester, the daughter of the late Alice (McNulty) and William Ghirardini, she was a graduate of Notre Dame High School in Tyngsboro and Regis College. Mrs. Kendall worked for many years for the Harvard Extension School as a liaison to the PACE Naval Program. A longtime resident a Brighton, she was a parishioner of St. Columbkille Parish and when she moved to Needham, she joined St. Joseph Parish. Above all things, Alice will be remembered most as a Loving mother and grandmother. The beloved wife of the late Gordon A. Kendall, she was the loving mother of Julian Peterson of Cambridge, Joyce Corbin of Reading VT and Lauren Carboni of Needham. She was the cherished grandmother of 5 grandchildren. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Susanna’s Church 262 Needham St, Dedham on Saturday, September 16 at 9:00 AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
