Joseph L. Ricciardi, 76, died Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at Steere House in Providence. He was the husband of the late Ellen (Maguire) Ricciardi who died in December, 2022. They had been married for 47 years at the time of her death.
Born in Providence, he is the son of Emily (Napolitano) Ricciardi of Cranston and the late Joseph Ricciardi. He had lived in Harmony before moving to Greenville.
Joe had worked at Custom Design in Quonset as a Plant Manager before retiring in 2010. He loved to spend time with his grandchildren, run, read and garden.
Besides his mother, he is survived by his daughters: Kelly Marshall and her husband, Matthew of Dayville, CT, Wendy Ricciardi and her boyfriend, Kurt Bertozzi of North Providence and Rebecca Nasis and her husband, Elias of Thompson, CT, his grandchildren: Ethan and Olivia Marshall and Divya and Elias Nasis and his sister: Carol Amalfitano and her husband, Robert of Northbridge, MA.
His funeral will be held Wednesday, February 25, 2026 at 9:30am from the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Rt 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. A mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10am in St. Philip Church, 622 Putnam Pike, Greenville. Burial will be at a later date. Visitation will be Wednesday morning, 8:30-9:30am. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Friends of Harmony Library, PO BOX 419, Harmony, RI 02829
