Karen Young Lott, 63, of Wilcox County, Georgia, died Saturday, February 14, 2026, at her daughter’s residence in the Holt community of Irwin County, Georgia.
Funeral services will be held 3 PM, Monday, February 16, 2026, at Eastside Holiness Baptist Church in Ben Hill County, with the Rev. Rob Merritt officiating. Interment will follow in the Lott Family Cemetery in Wilcox County. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at the church on Monday.
Mrs. Lott was born November 2, 1962, in Fitzgerald, Georgia, to the late Roscoe & Christine McLean Young. She was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking and cleaning and taking care of her family. She loved to ride horses and enjoyed antiques. She attended Eastside Holiness Baptist Church and was a member of New Bethel Holiness Baptist Church where she grew up.
She is survived by her husband, Tim Lott of Wilcox County; a daughter, Megan Lott of Holt; two sons: Ryan Lott and Mason Lott, both of Wilcox County; sisters: Betty Heatherly & Mike of Irwin County, Diane Sumner & Steve of Fitzgerald, and Renae Tyson & Phillip of Ocilla; and brothers-in-law, Glenn Lott & Patsy of Holt and Jeff Lott of Irwinville. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews whom she dearly loved. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her father and mother-in-law, Cleon & Jean Lott and a brother-in-law, Mark Lott.
