Pablo Gallegos Zavala, Jr., 57, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Thursday, February 12, 2026, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, Georgia.
Funeral services will be held 2 PM, Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at the Paulk Funeral Home chapel, with the Rev. Justin McCrimmon officiating. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery, in Fitzgerald, Georgia. The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM, until the funeral hour at the funeral home.
Pablo was born August 18, 1968, in Santiago Pinos Zacatecas, Mexico, to the late Pablo Gallegos, Sr. and Maria Ignacia Gallegos Zavala. He was a graduate of Edinburg High School in Edinburg, Texas. He enjoyed fishing, listening to music and watching movies on Netflix. Pablo was known as “Uncle Tio Pin” to many and was always willing to help people any way he could, often times opening up his home as a place for people to stay. He loved his family, but most of all his grandchildren. Pablo was a jack of all trades, he held numerous positions in the trailer manufacturing industry, most recently working for Nationcraft Trailers. He was of the Catholic faith.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Maria Guadalupe Gallegos; sons: Paul Alan Gallegos, Angel Gallegos, and Alvin Gallegos & Abalene; grandchildren: Noah Gallegos, Riley Rose Gallegos, Gabriel Gallegos, Ezarkel Gallegos and Adiel Gallegos; sisters: Guadalupe Gallegos & Hugo Gonzalez, Maria de la Luz Cruz, Beatriz Gomez & Ernesto, Maria Ignacia Gallegos & Juan Serrato; numerous nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Maria del Rosario Gallegos.
