GILMANTON ---- Jean Harriet Hueber, 72, of Meeting House Road, passed away on Friday, February 6, 2026, at home surrounded by her loved ones.
Jean was born on July 3, 1953, in Laconia, NH, the daughter of the late Carl Stockbridge and Eleanor (Patten) Dalton.
Jean unassumingly met the love her life in elementary school, however they did not go on their first date until they were much older and Roland was out of the military. Jean loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed crocheting and taking rides in her ’58 Chevy Impala. Jean also loved all holidays, especially Christmas, as she was able to spend time with family, decorate and host a wonderful meal with her loved ones.
Jean is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Roland Hueber; son Jimmy Hueber and his wife Nicole; daughters Sherry Hueber, Carrie Sargent, and Jeannie Hueber; fourteen grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
