Obituary

NORTH HAVERHILL –-- Louise Prudhomme, 95, formerly of Bristol, NH, passed away on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at the Grafton County Nursing Home, in North Haverhill, NH.

Louise was born on December 24, 1930, in Newfoundland, Canada, the daughter of the late Martin Kennedy and Mary Ann (Reynolds) Kennedy.

Louise sailed to New York City, NY, with her mother at the age of 6 where she spent her youth. In her teenage years, she moved to Warwick, RI. With her husband Ray, she raised three children in Warwick and East Greenwich, RI. Louise spent many years summering at Newfound Lake in 1960 through 1980, later making it a permanent home in Bristol, NH. She spent many winters on the West Coast of Florida.

Louise was a co-owner of custom home building and development companies in RI and NH. In 1980’s, she was a co-owner of Century 21-Country Lakes Realty serving the Newfound Lake area. During that time frame she was an award-winning sales broker and a mentor to new agents.

Louise enjoyed spending time with friends and family, traveling, boating and skiing. She loved arranging family reunions and gatherings for over 50 years. Louise authored a book of her life, ‘A Journey of a Lifetime from Ocean to the Lake’ in 2009. She was a stylish, beautiful, and very friendly woman and was always full of joy even on her hardest days.

Louise is survived by her children Russell Prudhomme and his partner Leslie Dube, Steven and his wife Joan Prudhomme; son-in-law Barton Pipes and his wife Marge; grandchildren, Kyle Pipes and his wife Morgan Pipes, Kim Fader and her husband Steve, Ryan Pipes and his wife Kendall, Elisabeth Prudhomme, Karina Hagan and her husband Peter, Kendra Anderson and her husband Chris, Julie Campion and her

husband Doyle, and Katie Summers and her husband Matt,18 great-grandchildren; sister Sandra Bocchino; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her parents, Louise is predeceased by her husband Raymond Prudhomme, Jr.; daughter Linda Pipes; sister Eileen Mills; and brothers Martin Kennedy, Jr., and Raymond Kennedy.

The family would like to thank the Grafton County Nursing Home for their comfort, care and compassion for Louise.

Calling Hours will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2026, from 9:00 am – 11:00 am, at Bristol United Church of Christ, 15 Church St, Bristol, NH.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2026, 11:00am, also at the church.
