Obituary

Anna L. (Cummings) Kuentz, a lifelong resident of Stoughton, passed away on Friday September 8, 2006, after a lengthy illness at the Braemoor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Brockton. She was 92 years old. She was the beloved wife of the late J. Franklin Kuentz.

Born May 11, 1914 in Boston, Massachusetts, she was a daughter of the late Harrison and Jessie (King) Cummings.

She attended Stoughton Public Schools and Stoughton High School.

Mrs. Kuentz was a self employed Accountant and had worked along with her late husband for various businesses in the Stoughton area. She was also employed as a Bookkeeper for the Cumberland Farms Corporation in Canton for many years.

She was an active member and attended the Trinity Episcopal Church in Stoughton.
She was also a member of the churches Friendship Club, served on the Altar Guild and had worked for the churches Bargain Box for many years.

She enjoyed Knitting, Reading, Bowling and playing Bingo.

She is survived by her daughter Sally Darling and her husband George of Sagamore Beach, formerly of Stoughton, her grandchildren, Alan Darling and his wife Linda of Taunton, Brian Darling and his wife Susan of Lakeville, David Darling and his wife Michelle of Raynham, and her seven greatgrandchildren, Jennifer Darling, Jaimie Darling, Matthew Darling, Melissa Darling, Jessica Darling, Anthony Darling and Nicole Darling.
She was also a sister to the late Christine Keeler.

Her funeral mass will be held on Wednesday September 13, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. in the Trinity Episcopal Church, 414 Sumner Street, Stoughton. The Reverend and Rector Father Robert R.M. Bagwell officiating. Her interment will be private. Visiting hours to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend will be held on Tuesday September 12, 2006 from 5-8 P.M. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Trinity Episcopal Church Parish Fund, 414 Sumner Street, Stoughton,MA 02072 in Anna’s memory, would be appreciated.
