Helen L. Fisher

Helen L.(McKay) Fisher, 80, passed away at Community Hospital in Anderson, surrounded by her family and loved ones, on February 9, 2026.
She was born on June 19, 1945 in Anderson, Indiana, the daughter of Loren E. and Lavon (Cade) McKay. She was a 1963 graduate of Anderson High School. She was employed by General Motors from where she retired after working for many years in skilled trades. She was a member of UAW 663. Helen was an avid animal lover and enjoyed woodworking, making stained glass, leatherwork and quilting. She enjoyed playing cards and watching movies with her family.
Helen is survived by her daughter, Trishia S. (Keith) Hudson- Jones; grandchildren, Shawna (Matt) Earley and Helena (Caitlin Bowman) Nuce; great grandchildren, Jaxon and Benton Nuce; brother, Jerry (Karla) McKay; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Loren E. McKay and Lavon Lauderbaugh; her siblings Lloyd McKay, Ruth Ann Reed, and Jeanette Beck.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 13, 2026 at 1:30 PM at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service. Burial will follow at East Maplewood Cemetery.
Visitation will be held 2 hours prior to the funeral at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Humane Society, Riley Children’s Hospital or
the donor’s choice of charity.
