Rosie Weir a devoted woman of faith and a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, went home to be with the Lord on January 30th surrounded by love and the legacy of a life well lived.
She was a strong woman of faith who served the Lord with her whole heart, soul, and strength. For over 30 years, she faithfully dedicated her life to the ministry of Teen Challenge, where she poured herself into helping others find hope, healing, and restoration through Jesus Christ. She believed deeply in redemption and never stopped loving people right where they were.
While she was passionate about ministry, her greatest joy in life was her family. Her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were the joy of her heart. She loved fiercely, prayed faithfully, and carried her family with her in everything she did.
She lived what she believed. Her life was a testimony of prayer, service, compassion, and unwavering trust in God. She leaves behind a legacy not of things, but of faith—a legacy that will continue through the generations she loved so deeply.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Jeanette Jacober; her brothers, Joe Jacober and Phillip Jacober; and her loving husband, Thomas Weir
She is survived by her children Jesse Hedge, Grace Shipp (Ricky Shipp), her brother Fred Jacober of Morro Bay, her sister Charlotte Jacober of Texas, her 9 grandchildren Brittany Fuzzell (Joey Fuzzell) Taylor Brown, Trevor Hedge (Jennifer Hedge) Jerica Hedge, Kelsie Monteilh (Nick Monteilh) Jessalyn Hedge, Trenton Hedge, Jessica Ryan (Casey Ryan) Riley Shipp her 6 great grandchildren with 2 more on the way Liam Vinson, Addy Fuzzell, Ryatt Fuzzell Rosie Fuzzell Beckham Monteilh Chandler Ryan and a host of family, friends, and lives forever changed by her love and ministry.
Though we grieve her passing, we rejoice in knowing she has finished her race and has heard the words, “Well done, good and faithful servant.” Her faith, love, and servant’s heart will live on forever.
