Raymond Wyndham Wilkes, 89, of Ventura, California, passed away on January 22, 2026, in Ventura, CA.
Ray was born in New Malden, Surrey, United Kingdom to Coronetta Alice (Tester) Wilkes and Wyndham George Wilkes on February 11, 1936. He went on to The Royal College of Art in London and to design for Herman Miller.
Ray is survived by his first wife, Rachel Rubeor and their children, Benjamin Wilkes, Jenny Wilkes, and Susan Rubeor, his brother, Roger Wilkes, his nephew Rufus, his nieces Annabel and Allison, and his second wife, Anitra Seitamo. He is preceded in death by his parents, Alice and George and his former sister in law, Rosalind Wilkes.
