West Minot- Jacqueline (Jackie) Lucille Potvin Passed away peacefully February 2 2026 at 11:25am at Sarah Frye home in Auburn Maine
She was born in Lewiston Maine on May 23rd 1932 A daughter of Leon Gagne and Lucille (Albert) Gagne.
In her early years she worked at her Fathers Garage as mechanic and fuel attendant on S Main Street in Auburn Maine. She graduated from Edward Little High School in Auburn Maine, Class of 1951.She married her childhood sweetheart Rene (Pete) A Potvin of Auburn Maine November 4th, 1951, they were married for 58 years. She spent eight wonderful years after with Robert Pelletier another family member, as co-habitant at Dexter Pond in Winthrop Me until he passed on. She went back to live with her daughter Janine in Minot until she needed full time assistance. She then went to Sarah Frye home for assisted living until her passing.
She was a seamstress, housewife, Gardner, Farmer, Mechanic. She enjoyed canning, Knitting and Crocheting. She went camping and fishing with her husband and also his cousin (Robert Pelletier mentioned above) after Pete passed on. Jackie took care of many children of friends and family for long periods of time during her life. She liked Fried clams and Martinis especially when sharing with Family. She was very outgoing with the life of the party way of thinking, and she had a very contagious laugh.
She is predeceased by her Sister Jeanine Gagne, husband Rene A Potvin, and his cousin Robert Pelletier, and Her Son Paul R Potvin.
She is survived by Her Daughter in law Jeanine (Cantin) Potvin sons Dennis Potvin and wife Sharon (Vining) Potvin and Gary Potvin and Fiancée Francesca Obrien, and Jacqueline’s youngest daughter Janine Cameron and her husband Christopher. Grandchildren: Jennifer Doucette, Scott Potvin, Tyson Potvin, Jessica Neureuther, and Jackie Potvin Pawling.
Great Grand Children: Brianna Doucette, Bryce Doucette, Nicholas Potvin, Makayla Potvin, Cameron Potvin, Cooper Potvin, Cole Neureuther, Maxwell Pawling and Luke Pawling.
Funeral and Celebration of life will be held this Summer.
