FRANKLIN ---- Leslie C. Hawthorne, Jr., 73, of Elkins Street, passed away at his home on Saturday, January 3, 2026.
Leslie was born on April 9, 1952, in Franklin, NH, the son of Leslie Hawthorne, Sr., and Cecile (Carignan) Hawthorne.
Leslie proudly served in the U.S. Air Force for 20 years, retiring as a Master Sergeant. He also enjoyed a career as a realtor for many years.
Leslie was an avid reader and collector. He will always be remembered for his sharp wit and sense of humor. He always had a story to tell, especially of his travels across the world. He had a very generous spirit, always there to help those in need. He was greatly loved by his family and friends.
Leslie is survived by his daughter Terra Hawthorne-Hughes and her husband Doug, three grandchildren, Jeremiah, Lily and Chloe, his sister Patricia Duffin, two nieces Samantha Duffin and Heather Duffin and nephew Christopher Duffin.
A celebration of life will be held by his family later this summer.
