Two of his biggest passions in life were family and sports. His wife and children meant the world to him. When Donald found love the second time around, it was clearly a love meant to last. He found someone that not only matched his strength, but was able to give him a new chapter in his love story. He instilled a strong work ethic in his children to achieve success. His love for sports blossomed during his time at Cushing Academy, where he lettered in hockey, baseball and football. He continued his passion for sports, coaching many teams to victory and playing hockey well into his 70s.
Donald grew up in a large extended construction family, learning from an early age the act of hard work and dedication. Immersing himself in a life long career.
In the words of Frank Sinatra, Papa would say… "I did it my way".
