
Ramona Lee “Moni” Kinney, 59, of Fitzgerald, died January 1, 2026, in the comfort of her home.
Graveside services will be held 12 PM, Monday, January 5, 2026, at the Evergreen Cemetery in Fitzgerald, Georgia with a eulogy being delivered by Adam Cobb. The family will receive friends from 10 AM until the funeral hour at the funeral home.
Ramona was born on September 13, 1966, in Athens, Ohio, and later made her home in Fitzgerald, Georgia. She was married to Ralph Kinney, with whom she shared a life centered on love and family. She was the proud mother of one daughter, Ashley Cobb, married to Adam Cobb, and a devoted grandmother to Levi and Rylee, who were the joy of her life.
Affectionately known as Moni, she was a strong woman who loved her family with everything she had. She would do anything for those around her and was always willing to put others before herself. Nothing meant more to her than spending time with her family and making memories together. Moni loved traveling, especially going on cruises, and she deeply adored her cat, who brought her comfort and companionship.
In addition to her husband, Ralph Kinney; daughter Ashley Cobb & Adam, and grandchildren: Levi Cobb and Rylee Cobb; she is survived by her father, Lawrence Malone; her twin sister, Debbie Oring (husband Scott Oring); her older sister, Becky Baldwin; as well as many other family members who will miss her terribly. She was preceded in death by her mother, Gerda Malone, and her grandparents, Lawrence and Anna Malone and Paul and Ottilie Irwin.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.
