Alice L. Harper, 90, of Wray, Georgia, died Saturday, December 27, 2025, at her residence.
Graveside services will be held 2 PM, Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at the Holt Baptist Church Cemetery in Irwin County, Georgia. The family will greet friends at the cemetery following the service.
Ms. Harper was born February 18, 1935, in Brighton, Colorado to the late Emilio and Josephine Padilla Gonzales. Ms. Harper worked numerous clerical positions in the area. She loved to watch wrestling and sewing. Ms. Harper was a member of Holt Baptist Church.
She is survived by her children: Billy Walker & Debra of Summerville, South Carolina, Allen Walker & Heidi of New Smyrna Beach, Florida, Jackie Harper of Fitzgerald, David “Shorty” Walker of Wray, and Luckie Walker of Wray; several grandchildren, great grands, great-great grands, nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Lorenzo Harper and a son Talmadge Walker.
