MARIANO PEREYRA, 95, of Boston and the Dominican Republic, Passed away Peacefully on Monday, December 15, 2025 at home surrounded by his family. He was the son of the late Eloisa
Pereyra and Francisco Dicent, and brother to the late Francisco Pereyra.
Mariano was known affectionately as "Rubio" for his distinctive blonde Hair and aviator glasses. Mariano found joy in life's simple pleasures: cooking for loved ones, tending his garden, and engaging in spirited games of Dominoes with friends. Above all, he treasured time spent with his family.
Mariano is survived by his beloved wife, Ercilia. He is also survived by his twelve loving children: Ramon, Roberto, Mariano, Yolanda, Dania, Antonio, Henry, Rosa, Nita, Dioni, Frank, and Sobieky. His daughter Isabel who has preceded him in death.
His remarkable legacy includes 30 adored grandchildren, 10 cherished great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
His family is profoundly grateful to God for the blessing of his presence and wisdom throughout his 95 years.
Family and friends are invited to attend the viewing hours on Monday December 22, 2025 from 9:30-11 AM in the Joseph Russo Funeral Home, 814 American Legion Highway, Roslindale, MA. A Funeral Mass will be at 11:30 Am in Sacred Heart Church, 169 Cummins Highway, Roslindale, MA. Interment will be in St. Michael Cemetery, 500 Canterbury Street, Roslindale, Ma.
