Geraldine (Edwards) Krappe 75,died Monday September 4th in the Caritas Good Samaritan Hospital, after a period of failing health .She was the wife of the late Frederick W. Krappe, Sr.
Born and brought up in Whitman. She was a graduate of Whitman High.
She was a resident of East Bridgewater from 1953-1987 and presently has lived in Middleboro for the past 14 years
Geraldine worked for twenty years as a custodian in the science building for the Bridgewater State College. She retired in 2001 and was presented the excellence award.

She is survived by her son Frederick W. Krappe ,Jr. and his fiancée Delores Charnick of Middleboro, her daughter Ann Punch of Chelsea; two grandchildren Frederick,III and Sherry Krappe; one great grandchild Ayamie Rechenbacher ;also many nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Howard Edwards and Pauline Cook.
Her service will be held Thursday September 7th at 12: 00 noon. in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel; Plymouth Street (Route 58 at the Rotary Circle) Whitman Burial will follow in the Central Cemetery in East Bridgewater. Visiting hours Wednesday September 6th 4-8.
