Obituary

WORCESTER: Anna F. (Walsh) Kamyck, 85, of 244 Belmont St., formerly of Colton St., died Thursday, August 31, 2006, in UMass Memorial Medical Center - Memorial Campus, after a brief illness. Her husband of 40 years, Henry Kamyck, died in 1981.
She leaves two sons, Henry E. Kamyck and his wife Regina, David J. Kamyck, Anna's caregiver; a daughter, Maryann Donie; 7 grandchildren, Stephanie Openshaw, Kirsten Kamyck-Moulin, David Mark Kamyck, Michael Kamyck, Jennifer Russell, Shea and Tess Donie, all of Worcester. She also leaves 10 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and her many friends at Seabury Heights.
A son, Michael Paul Kamyck; 3 sisters, Alice Andersen, Rita Napoli and Mary Redmond; and 8 brothers, Francis, William, Thomas, Martin, Joseph, Patrick, Edward, and Patrick J. Walsh, all predeceased her.
Anna was the last of 12 siblings, born and raised in Worcester, a daughter of the late Edward F. and Mary (Fahey) Walsh. She and her sister Mary were co-owners of Sisters Two Catering for many years. She enjoyed visiting casinos, trips to Hampton Beach, Disney and Ireland. She was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, a volunteer bingo worker, and always proud of her life long South Worcester roots.
CALLING HOURS will be from 5 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 3, in KELLY FUNERAL HOME, 154 Lincoln St. A FUNERAL MASS will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 4, in SACRED HEART OF JESUS CHURCH, 600 Cambridge St. After cremation, burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, at the convenience of the family.
The family suggests donations in Anna's memory be made to the Central Massachusetts Shelter for Homeless Veterans, 69 Grove St., Worcester, MA 01605 OR Sherry's House, 1154 Pleasant St., Worcester, MA 01602.
