Aversa, Antoinette (nee) D’Urso, aged 86 of Bergenfield died on Tuesday, August 29, 2006. Beloved wife of the late Joseph. Devoted mother of Nancy LaPietra and her husband Jerry, and the late Antonino Aversa and his wife Olympia. Loving grandmother of Joseph and Lisa Aversa of Little Falls, NJ, Gina and Ray Craig of Lexington, SC, Kim LaPietra of Whippany, NJ and Jerry and Catherine LaPietra, Oradell, NJ. Dear sister of Mary Pelletiere of Oradell, NJ. She was pre-deceased by her beloved brothers, Camillo and Ralph D’Urso. She is survived by her sister-in-laws Florence and Laura D’Urso, Mary Magistro and her brother-in-law John and his wife Cathy. Great-Grandmother to four great-grandchildren. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Funeral Service Wednesday September 6, 2006 at 9:00AM from the Volk Leber Funeral Home, 789 Teaneck Road, Teaneck, NJ, then to Ascension Church, New Milford for a 10:30 AM Mass of Christian Burial. Family and friends are invited to visit on Tuesday, 2-4PM and 7-9PM. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations in her name to Sister M.
