Bridgewater- Susan M. (Byrne) Jewells, 38, of Bridgewater, formerly of Halifax and Pembroke, died Saturday, Aug. 26, 2006, at Brockton Hospital after a courageous battle with breast cancer. She was the beloved wife of Blaine Jewells.
Born March 15, 1968, in Weymouth, she was the daughter of Richard W. Byrne and Helen A. (Brocklesby) Byrne of Pembroke.
Raised in Pembroke, Mrs. Jewells was a graduate of Silver Lake Regional High School, Class of 1986.
She also attended Quincy Beauty Academy.
A homemaker, Mrs. Jewells had been a resident of Bridgewater for the past seven years, coming from Halifax where she lived for seven years.
She was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Bridgewater.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by her son, Matthew B. Jewells; and her siblings, Christine White of Pembroke and Richard Byrne Jr. of Plymouth.
Her Funeral will be held from the Prophett Funeral Home, 98 Bedford St. (Rte. 18), Bridgewater, Tuesday at 9:15 a.m, followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Thomas Aquinas Church at 10 a.m. Visiting hours Monday 4-8 p.m. Burial in Center Cemetery, Pembroke.
