OBITUARY
EAST BRIDGEWATER
Lorraine M. (Seyfert) O’Kelly, 83, died Friday August 25th at the Island Terrace Nursing Home in Lakeville, after a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late James J. O’Kelly.
Born in Norwood a daughter of the late Walter and Mildred (Foster) Seyfert. She was raised in Brockton and was a graduate of Brockton High School.
She resided in East Bridgewater with her husband for 60 years, and was a communicant of St. John’s Church.
Lorraine was a loving wife and mother who was devoted to raising her family of ten children and caring for her husband who suffered an long illness until his death in 2004.
She is survived by four sons and five daughters, Joseph O’Kelly of East Bridgewater, Patricia Knox of Middleboro, Kathleen Westhaver of Mansfield, Michael O’Kelly of Harrison, Maine, John O’Kelly of Portland, Maine, Thomas O’Kelly of East Bridgewater, Linda Ordway of Mansfield, Sheila O’Kelly of Plymouth, Lori-Ann London Mansfield, and late William O’Kelly; a brother Walter Seyfert of Randolph: twenty-three grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late George Seyfert.
Her funeral will be on Wednesday August 30th at 9:15 A.M. from the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street(Route 58 at the Rotary Circle) Whitman, followed by a Funeral Mass in St. John’s Church, East Bridgewater at 10:00 A.M.. Burial will be in the Northville Cemetery, East Bridgewater Visiting hours Tuesday August 29th 5-8 P.M.
